OMS Receives $1,000 Donation from D9 Fund
D9 Ooltewah Harrison Education Fund

Ooltewah, TN - Ooltewah Middle School was recently presented with a $1,000 donation from the D9 Ooltewah Harrison Education Fund to support school-wide student incentive programs.


The donation was accepted by Ooltewah Middle School principal, Mrs. Andrea Short. “OMS would like to thank D9 for assisting us in providing students with incentives for our PBIS program.” Short explains, “Our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support program exists to define expectations, reward students for academic growth and success, and provide opportunities to demonstrate school pride. We are thankful to D9 for supporting our school.”

About D9 

The D9 Ooltewah Harrison Education Fund was established in 2014 to enrich the educational and developmental opportunities for Ooltewah-Harrison public school students by implementing and uniting fundraising efforts. 

D9 has raised more than $150,000 to support area schools. Because all D9 Board members are volunteers, 100% of funds raised are utilized to fulfill educational needs and initiatives in District Nine.
